Wild & Whimsical: Create Your Own Animal Character Weekend Workshop

Join Jean O’Neil in this weekend workshop and create your very own whimsical a

nimal sculpture using a very unique fiber clay.
Unlike traditional clay, fiber clay does not require the hollowing out of the figure.Jean O’Neil discovered this clay when she had her studio in Sedona and has been importing it from New Mexico ever since.

This fiber clay has the option to be fired up to cone 6. As a sculptural tool, the strength of the embedded fiber offers an incredible array of structural possibilities you will love discovering. After completing this workshop you will be able to create and build a variety of both sculptural and functional work with this extraordinary clay body.  Participants will receive 25lbs of fiber clay, plenty of clay to create their own character, and continue experimenting on their own afterwards.
