Waterbrook Collecting Pottery Donations for Community Show & Sale
Waterbrook Potters Studio is proud to support the upcoming Daughters of Charity Pottery Show & Sale, a fundraiser benefiting Refugee and Immigrant Support Services of Emmaus (RISSE).
Date: Friday, June 19th
Time: 3:00pm-5:00pm
Location: Seton Conference - 96 Menand Road, Albany, NY
The show features work created by artists from the Daughters of Charity community clay program, started by Sister Loretta. Since the program began in the aftermath of the pandemic, it has provided women in the community with an opportunity to explore ceramics, develop their artistic voices, and build connections through clay. It has been inspiring to watch these artists grow in confidence and skill over the past several years.
To help support this effort, Waterbrook members are donating pottery for sale alongside the work of the program participants. A donation box has been set up at the studio for members who would like to contribute pieces to the event.
