September Raku at Waterbrook

Join us at Waterbrook Potters Studio for our next raku firing on September 26th. Cooler temperatures, crisp fall air, and a whole lot of fire, smoke, and glowing pots make this the perfect time to get outside and fire some work.

Cost: Waterbrook & CCCG $25 | Non-Members $30

  • Payment is due at the firing - cash or check only, paid to the Kilnmaster

PLEASE GLAZE YOUR PIECES BEFORE THE START OF RAKU

What to Bring

  • Bisqueware: Limit of 3–4 pieces per participant due to kiln space. Pieces should have a diameter of 8 inches or less.

    • Tall, narrow pieces are most likely to be fired

  • Raku glazes, horsehair, and feathers will be provided by the studio

  • Please wax the bottoms of your pieces (this can be done at the studio on firing day)
