Glaze Mixing 101 - The First Five
The first five was developed by Old Forge Ceramics as an easy and inexpensive entry to glaze mixing that uses the same five basic ingredients. In this 2-part workshop we’ll discuss some glaze mixing basics and mix 3 base glazes (gloss, floating and matte) so participants can do their own experiments with colorants. The idea is to allow participants to become comfortable with the mixing process and experiment a little. Each participant will mix their own set of base glazes that they will be able to experiment with after class.

Woodfiring with Capital Ceramic Supply
Waterbrook is teaming up with Capital Ceramic Supply to take part in a community woodfiring at their Delmar kiln, designed and built in 2022.

We will drop off, glaze (as needed), wad and load the kiln on 5/17 at 10am and return on 5/25 to pick up.
Woodfire Workshop with Matthew Tell
Please bring 20-30 bisque fired pieces. All of your pieces should be made from cone 10 clay.
